Click here for a comparison chart that will assist with training in the mixing and baking skills. ![]() Mixing requires a mixing spoon and mixing bowl both of which can be purchased at a provisioner's shop for 13 and 18 gold respectively, or can be made by a carpenter from 1 log each. Mixing is accomplished by adding ingredients into a mixing bowl and using a mixing spoon on the bowl when the ingredients are all added. The chances of success are based on your skill/2 and dexterity/6 plus the base percentage of the recipe. All the recipes are listed in the following chart.
*Lemonade does not require baking ![]() ![]() Baking is used to bake finished recipes. To bake you must stand next to a stove and double-click the dough and select the stove. The chances of successful baking are skill/2 and intelligence/6 plus the base percentage as listed in the following chart.
![]() ![]() Roasting is done much like baking except any cooking flame may be used instead of just the oven. Roasting cooks raw meats and uses a similar formula for success rate: skill/2 and intelligence/6 plus base percentage (listed in following chart).
![]() ![]() Brewing requires a brewkettle which can be purchased from a provisioner for ? gold. You will also need 3 ingredients specifically for brewing: yeast, hops, and malt syrup. Hops comes in three types: Bitterness, Flavor, and Aroma and can be purchased from a taver vendor. Malt Syrups come in three flavors as well: Malt Syrup, Wheat Malt Syrup, and Barley Malt Syrup. Malt Syrup is the only store bought type the other types must be made by adding either wheat grain or cut barley to normal Malt Syrup. Brewing must be done in a specific order or it will be ruined, you start with water then add the hops and syrup, finally add the sugar and yeast to the brewkettle and use it on a stove. It will now take time for the mix to brew and when ready will give you 24 pints of a specific brew from the chart below. Note: all beers reduce your stamina when consumed for the amount listed.
